Bring the Sunshine! Banbury BID Invites Families and Community Groups to Star in the 2026 Summer Fest Parade
BANBURY, UK — Dust off your brightest colors, channel your inner carnival spirit, and get ready to dance through the streets! Banbury BID is thrilled to announce the return of the spectacular Summer Fest Parade on Saturday, 4 July 2026, and this year, our amazing community is the main event.
The party kicks off at 11:30 AM outside The Light, where the incredible, high-energy drummers from the North Oxfordshire Academy (NOA) will lead a wave of music, color, and celebration straight into the heart of the town centre.
The vibrant procession will weave its way through town, culminating in a buzzing Market Place where the Banbury Saturday Market will be in full swing, alongside special guests, live entertainment, and a fantastic summer atmosphere.

This isn’t just a parade to watch from the sidelines—it’s a completely free celebration of our incredible community, and we want local groups, families, clubs, schools, and residents to be right in the middle of the action.
The parade is already a massive hit with those who have taken part before. Reflecting on the incredible atmosphere, John Donaldson from the Banbury Twinning Association said:
